Guido Negraszus is a German-Australian composer, pianist, and keyboardist known for his rich musical versatility and deeply atmospheric sound. Born in Vennikel, West Germany, Guido trained as a Tonmeister at the esteemed SAE Institute in Sydney before settling in Western Australia with his wife Serene in 2001.
A veteran of the German Army, Guido served eight years during the Cold War before embarking on a musical journey that now spans more than 30 years. With over thirty full-length albums released, he has become a respected figure in New Age, Chill-out, Worldbeat, and Ambient music. His signature sound is uplifting and melodic—often calm and meditative—featuring expressive piano themes supported by guitars, strings, voices, and rich electronic textures.
In addition to his solo work, Guido composes epic cinematic and trailer music under the names Akela Sun and Triple7Music. The Akela Sun style is defined by powerful, symphonic arrangements with a distinct soundtrack feel, showcasing Guido’s passion for bold, dramatic storytelling through music.
